Police charge man after Armed Robbery, United Petroleum Service Station

On Saturday May 18, 2019 around 6:30pm a male offender entered the United Petroleum Service Station, located at the Brooker Highway, Lutana. The man produced a weapon and demanded cigarettes and money. The attendant at the store activated the emergency alarm and the man left the store without any cigarettes or money.

A mane has been taken into custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Anyone who has dash cam footage or observed a man dressed in black clothing and wearing a black backpack with a bicycle in the vicinity of the United Service Station at 6:30pm or in the vicinity of Station Street and Sunderland Street, Moonah around 9pm is asked to contact police.
